As a way to thank Antonio for his work on Planters brand identity, Obici helped put Antonio through med school, and also paid for Antonio’s and his four of his siblings’ educations, too. In spite of the chump change Antonio earned for his design, Obici took matters into his own hands. Obici knew how legendary the icon would soon become.
